Getting to Know Steve
I have always had a passion for helping people to achieve their goals. Every individual has different goals and desires. I take great joy in helping them to achieve things they weren’t sure they could. In my leadership role I often have helped direct reports and peer leaders to develop and execute their retirement plans. Now I’m making it “official” My job here is primarily that of a teacher. Educating people on sound financial principals, and ways to apply them, leads to better decisions and a greater comfort level with finances.
I love to spend time with my family! I am blessed to have a child who will never leave home so Heather and I will never have to face an “empty nest”. Grandchildren are a tremendous joy and right now my favorite hobby is to do whatever they want! I also enjoy fly fishing, shooting, and smoking meat on my favorite toy…my Traeger.
Bucket List: Watch the New Zealand National Rugby Team “The All Blacks” in a home match.
Favorite Food: Smoked Brisket (from my own Traeger)
Places I'd Like to Visit: Besides New Zealand, take my wife to visit France and Italy.
Favorite Movies: “It’s a Wonderful Life” with James Stewart
