Michael is a licensed Investment Adviser Representative and the latest addition to the HBW team at the Roseville office. He was born in San Jose, CA but grew up on the east coast in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where he spent 25 years throughout PA, NJ, NY and DE. Michael’s professional career began at JPMorgan Chase & Co, where he gained corporate banking experience as a financial controller overseeing the firm’s balance sheet & PnL statements for the derivative trading desks. From there, he transitioned to Wells Fargo as a strategy consultant within their Technology, Media & Telecom (TMT) sector based in NYC. After COVID, Michael took a leap of faith and moved back to California where his family is originally from and still lives today. Since 2020, he gathered a deep understanding of the mortgage & lending business, serving many households refinance their home loans or achieve homeownership. It was during this time that Michael discovered his true passion, which is helping people accomplish their goals. Guiding clients towards improved financial health, while seeing firsthand the immediate impact it has on their families, is second to none. As a financial advisor, Michael gets to continue this dream every single day.
Education:
Michael graduated from Pennsylvania State’s Smeal College of Business with a bachelor’s degree in finance and a focus in accounting and real estate. He also has a desire to pursue additional FINRA licensing, the CFP designation, and grad school. Stanford’s MBA program is at the top of his list for this path.
Getting to Know Michael:
Outside of work, Michael enjoys quality time with family & friends. In the spring/summer, you can usually find him anywhere outdoors, like Lake Tahoe, Forest Hills, or exploring new places. If not, he is probably beating the heat by watching F1 Friday-Sunday analyzing free practice & qualifying lap times, tire reports, or weather conditions. In the winter, Michael enjoys visiting the mountains to ski. Palisades Tahoe currently holds the number one spot, with a tie for second being Breckenridge, CO and Killington, VT.
Michael’s latest adventure is becoming a cat dad, who has taught him the real meaning of patience. Astro is a long-haired black kitten that loves to get into trouble around the house, attack his favorite toys (and often me), or find the best napping spot (usually by the window for sun).
